Banks and Currency Exchange
The United Kingdom's currency is Pounds Sterling.  Credit and debit cards are generally accepted in restaurants and shops.

Climate and Clothing
In August, the weather in Manchester is quite pleasant with temperatures ranging from the mid-teens to the low twenties. However, as British weather is unpredictable, it is advisable to bring a sweater and a light raincoat or umbrella.  

The organisers do not accept any responsibility for individual medical, travel or personal insurance. Participants are strongly advised to have their own travel insurance policies.

Passport & Visas
A passport is valid for entry into the UK.  Each delegate is responsible for obtaining their own entry visas, if required.  Please contact the proper authority (Consulate or Embassy) for information.
